How about a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT to make a flat/small income tax?

I propose that the US Constitution be amended to include an income tariff, that this tariff will forever be held a a flat rate of 10% (and limit state’s skill to tariff to 4%).
Further the tariff would be collected only on the last pay of the month.
NO REFUNDS! NO OVERPAYMENTS!
SELF EMPLOYED PERSONS PAY MONTHLY, BI-MONTHLY OR QUARTERLY, BUT NO UNDERPAYMENT FEES FOR ANYONE, PROVIDING THAT THEY, INDEED PAY THEIR 10%!
10% for all income levels, the more you make, the more you pay, but not unbearably so, and ALL corporations pay 10%
NO MORE TAX BREAKS FOR INCENTIVES TO LOCATE OR, WORSE, RELOCATE!
Ta breaks for locating and relocating rob’s communities of much needed revenues, and companies go, throwing personal economies into fantastic upheaval, including bankruptcies!
I reckon that this would allow ALL to fine tune their budgets and eliminate much IRS work, as there would be only 4-15 for self employed persons

As I was like EVERY single person, under the age of 65, brought up to believe that the income tariff was legal, turns out it is not!

I do agree that we need a COMPLETE tariff overhaul.
The postal service, a 100% government operated service is SUPPOSEDLY tariff emancipated (well the stamp is the tariff, but also the price of the service)
the problem with excise taxes is that soon the rich will be the only ones to afford enything (it MUST end up that way if inflation outpaces wage increases)
and a flat tariff keeps everyone paying a honest share of gov’t costs, and no one can be against that.
Why scream about the rich paying an equal percentage?
Why in hell would anyone reckon that the rich owew more? when in detail, they usually use less government services?

I support a flat tariff. I have always wondered why you should be punished for being more successful, that seems a small communistic to me.
One problem………10% to people in the 500k bracket and above means well nothing to them and has less impact than on a person in the lower brackets for instance someone clearing 24K a year has to pay 2400 dollars at 10% or 1/24th of their yearly income now apply that to someone making 500k a year yes it’s 50K in taxes but reckon of what that breaks down too……..hmmmmmmm much less impact if you question me.
The percentage breakdown currently is more favorable no it is not exact but it works and what you could do to assits in that is to investigate the effects more on lower income families and then figure out a much more friendly system with less beauracracy.
Forbes proposed a 17% flat tariff 8 years ago. When he was running for president. People under the poverty line wouldn’t pay anything. I won’t make into the advanced economic structure but as it turns out, every dollar boost in the money supply (tariff cut) generates a 6 dollar boost in the “Yucky domestic Product” GDP. If you figure that each of those 6 dollars is taxed at 17% The Government rakes in $1.02 for every dollar in taxes it cuts.That’s the miracle of trickle down economics. each dollar is spent many times and taxed many times. it doesn’t vanish after it’s spent.

I quit paying taxes, and I can’t wait for the IRS to come around. I’ll caution them in court that when they make the illegal invaders out of my country, I’ll initiation paying again, and not until.
How bout one at 0%, with no increases or penalties? You know, like we had till 1913? That’d be nice. Till you adopt that policy, you don’t make my vote.
