I have a question about bankruptcy?

Me and my husband are getting ready to file for bankruptcy. If I have 2 car loans which we will bankrupt, but continue to pay for, and a personal loan that we will not continue to pay on at all with my bank will I have to find a new bank for my checking and savings acct or not?
Do we also stop paying the bills we are going to bankrupt to save the money for the bankruptcy?

The only way you can keep your cars is if you are not behind paying on them. To answer your question, you would have to change banks for your checking and savings account since you have a loan with them that you are not going to pay on. You no longer have to pay the places that you will include in your bankruptcy so yes you can use that money to file or whatever is needed.
