Personal bankruptcy questions?
admin | Mar 30, 2010 | Comments 3
Can a person file for bankruptcy without a lawyer or is this not recommended? Also, when an individual files for bankruptcy, do they lose all lines of open credit, even ones with no debt? Is there anything else to know about bankruptcy that is valuable?
I don’t want to manage or settle my debt, even if.

go to a debt/credit councilor. you don’t need a lawyer and they can answer all your questions.
Chpt 7 yes you lose all credit cards- you have to list everything even if no balance. Not recommended without atty. Your credit is trashed afterwords.
I would visit http://diylegalinfo.com/bankruptcy_Links.html/ They have a lot of excellent information on bankruptcy questions.
