Personal bankruptcy questions?

Can a person file for bankruptcy without a lawyer or is this not recommended? Also, when an individual files for bankruptcy, do they lose all lines of open credit, even ones with no debt? Is there anything else to know about bankruptcy that is valuable?

go to a debt/credit councilor. you don’t need a lawyer and they can answer all your questions.

Chpt 7 yes you lose all credit cards- you have to list everything even if no balance. Not recommended without atty. Your credit is trashed afterwords.
