Who has personally filed bankruptcy?….?

Besides the obvious credit hurt for number of years, what are some of the other damaging consequences of a bankruptcy filing that no one would know unless they have filed themselves?

I have read just about anything that i can make my hands on on bankruptcy but i sought after to know from people whom have really gone thru the administer themselves.

basically need to know which i should file 7, 11, or 13 and why?

I have a very ailing business, should i file personal or business bankruptcy?

can i keep my household which is upside down in loans?

valuable do’s and don’ts, before and after the filing. for instance:

I haven’t filed my taxes for 2008 so far, should i file for my taxes before or after filing for bankruptcy?

i want to refinance my household initially mortgage, should i refinance before or after bankruptcy?

I am about to make a job, should i initiation before or after bankruptcy?

thank you in advance

You should contact a bankruptcy lawyer. different states have different rules. You could make terrible advice on here.

Question all these questions to a bankruptcy lawyer. If they keep asking for more money, then that’s a red flag.

You will pay your household payment positive the amount you are behind, if you keep the household.

You will pay in high interest later for loans, for many years, maybe even 10.

You may not make the job because of your credit.

How much are you in debt? Is there someway you can work out payment plans with your creditors? place on’t file BK unless it is the last resort. We filed BK 3-30-09 and have had nothing but problems. Our BK to be finalized 7-13-09. We still make calls from creditors and one credit card was sent to a collection agency in direct violation of the BK stay. We had to include our business assets and debt in the filing. Our business is a source of income and the credit has our soc sec #’s attached. The creditors cannot come after you personally for the debt but they can the business. I suggest that you talk to an attorney. There are some that give the initially consult for emancipated. Every state is different. Take the list you just programmed with you and he should be able to answer you questions better than any of us can.
