Question _______: Why is all this talk of deficit reduction in the U.S. seldom mentioned about touching. 88% of the budget?
I notice that Republicans are out of their “plot” a few days ago (and was quickly ridiculed by those who truly know the evils of the federal budget). They want to cut the EPA, public diffusion and financing of ‘éducation.Barack Obama, not wanting to be outdone in denominations symbolic but ultimately pointless and counterproductive, wants to cut heating help to low income families in the midpoint of winter. Now, what would be one thing if these reductions mentioned above were included in a broader set of changes that included Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and the Pentagon budget (which represent about 88% of total budget expenditures )….. ….. but they arent. “Why are both parties aver that the U.S. can not touch the defense budget significantly (currently over 800 billion per year including the costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan) or seriously consider changing Medicare / Medicaid (the two other largest expenditure in the federal budget)? @ I’m not …….” If you were in the army, you will know what it costs to run it. “I know we can not reduce expenses and maintain operations nation-building in the world in addition to trying to police the world. Clearly, American foreign policy should be reviewed. Preeminent answer:

If you were in the army, you will know what it costs to run it. You can not just “CUT” the dépenses.Vous reduce spending in the military, excellent luck and have all the pilots because pilots need flight hours each month. They can not make those hours, without enough money for gas costs and operating personnel, maintenance, etcCe is just one example among milliers.EDIT: I agree that the repudiation the past. If wars have been arrested but it would save us a lot of money.

Social Security and Medicare spending and binding and can not be touché.Les people pay into these programs, the government is aptly to give them their argent.Les military spending is another issue, many Democrats and some tea person in the Republican Party want to see reductions in this area ainsi.Mais you’re aptly. Talk about spending cuts without mentioning the military cuts (60% of discretionary spending) is unnecessary.
