The world invests about $ 8 billion to $ 10 billion in AIDS every year, more than 100 times what it spends on water projects in developing countries. So far more than 2 billion people do not have access to adequate sanitation, and about 1 billion lack clean water.
In a recent series in the journal Lancet, experts wrote that more than one-third of child deaths and 11 percent of the total disease burden worldwide are due to mothers and children not getting enough to eat — or not getting enough nutritional food.
“We have a system in public shape where the loudest voice gets the most money,” said Dr. Richard Horton, editor of Lancet. “AIDS has grossly distorted our limited budget.”

if aids mutates and spreads like the bug, all thae waer in the wolrd wont aid you. it is the worlds preeminent interest to make rid of aids. on the other hand . if people would use a small birth control, they miight be able to solve some of the water supply issues thaey are having.
Your points are brilliant, but one of my largest fears is that one of my like ones getting the dreaded disease. I’ve known two people who have died from Aids already.
This is a very complex subject because how to prioritize spending. I believe section of the reason why more money goes HIV/Aids is that it effects all countries, while starving people are in geographically isolated locations. Out of sight, out of mind. Positive, for us ones who believe in the valuable tenants of Darwin, would say that when resources deplete, people should go or suffer. If they are unable, whatever happens, happens. With HIV, you have tons of people within our own country, many African-American who say we are not spending near enough money of HIV as it is, and see it as a form or allowed racism not to spend more money of HIV. How do you juggle that?
What are you trying to say? To much money is spent on Aids Investigate? Do you know, because of all that wasted money Aids is now a treatable disease? Should we spend the money on third world countries while people aptly here in the USA die? I’m not sure I know where you are coming from.
