Question by kimmers0724: What are some hotels close to Embarcadero Marina Park South?
I’m trying to plot a visit to San Diego in Dignified and am looking at staying close to Embarcadero Marina Park but am on a limited “lodge budget”. I had originally been thinking of the Marriot but can not justify spending the amount of money they are reserving the place to stay for. Please aid!!

The Comfrot Inn gaslamp may be your preeminent bet — it’s less than a half-mile away from the Marriott.

The initially two hotels that came to my mind were the Marriott and the Manchester Grand Hyatt… but they are high-priced.
There is also an Embassy Suites Lodge adjacent to Haven Village and the Embarcadero.
The Wyndham Emerald Plaza is a few blocks further away. It is usually overpriced, but it wouldn’t hurt to check their prices.
There’s also a Westin attached to Horton Plaza. It is walking distance from the Embarcadero, but it is at smallest amount 10-12 minute walk. No problem for younger people, but a bit too far of a walk for some people.
