What are the safest Most “budget” Friendly Areas “Near” Los Angeles?

Question of Brian : What are the safest for Budget Friendly Areas “Near Los Angeles ?
My plot is to room with someone. I’m looking to try to initiation a music career and live out. I work at the lodge reception to generosity today …… So I do not have much money …… approximately 8.25 per hour. So I know I will not room with someone in the most exclusive neighborhoods ……… but at the same time ……. I do not want to end up living in a ghetto. Does anyone have advice for a budding musician who would be places to play close, but does’nt want to live in very perilous areas. Thank you for your aid. Preeminent answer:

Why are you asking this question in the section of San Francisco? I lived in Los Angeles there is 450 check miles and has 85 different cities. If you mean Los Angeles city proper, I recommend the San Fernando Valley for a touch cheaper. If you can afford, west of Los Angeles is closer to the action for a musician .. Or, Highland Park and Eagle Rock to eastern Hollywood.
