For some reason we’ve never been as b@da$ s as we were in the 60s, and it seems like ever since then the young people of this country (my generation) don’t give a flip about politics and how it affects them anymore. People in their 20s hardly ever vote. This year, there has been a lot of rioting across the globe for different things, and while I don’t condone the deaths and casualties that they caused, I will declare that they got the message across a lot more clearly than these passive “peaceful protests” by the lawnchair generation of ancient, stout Americans have, no matter how noble their goals are. I’ve been reading about this debt deal thing lately and it seems like neither side really gets it so far! It’s not about cutting into Social Security and Medicare, nor is it about a blanket “balanced budget”. It’s about restraining our government from financial waste like the politician’s “benefits”, their exorbitant salaries, our largely needless foreign bolster, and not just lowering taxes or raising taxes for all Americans, but instead taxing the FVCK out of the rich and maybe lightening the load a small for the average Joe. There’s money to be found to fix some of this deficit; we should just place the brakes on spending for a while so we can fix it! Even if you don’t agree with me about these things, my real question is, why don’t we ever “take it to the streets” anymore? All the other tactics have failed! (but of course, I don’t know if these fatcats in Washington will ever change).

initially, they learned to fight their wars for profit with confidential soldiers so as to keep the people insulated from it
2nd, they learned to keep the people in economic turmoil so they don’t have TIME to be engaged and or protest

The problem is TV. Everyone is more worried about what jersey shore is doing and the royal wedding. I reckon it’s sad that the majority of the young people now, do not care to find out about how the country runs. They let other people run it and don’ question questions or details. Ignorance is what seems like is being taught in school. Our culture system has gone to hell. It seems like kids learn more of the details of religious holidays than what should really be learned, description and how government works.
You are asking why young people that don’t even care enough to VOTE, don’t riot or at smallest amount protest? place on’t worry, it’s not their fault. They are late for work too many times and that F-ing owner fired them, but it’s not their fault. No worries, they make unemployment. They have a high school diploma but can’t read or write, but it’s not their fault. But no worries, employers and colleges keep lowering their standards too. Small Johnny won’t sit still or mind his parents, don’t worry, it’s not his fault, take a pill.
The liberal, progressives, socialists, Marxist, whatever mentality wants to initiation a sociality that is willing to turn more and more and more of their freedoms and responsibilities over to the government. But there are side effects, you are starting to see some of them.
They NEED you to believe it HAS to be someone else’s fault so someone else can fix it, enter the almighty government. If you ever realize your situation is probably YOUR fault, then you may also realize that YOU can fix it. Now we can’t have that can we? The most valuable argument they have is if you are poor is because of the rich, they took your money!!!
Most people don’t realize, if you taxed the “rich” 100% it would not be near enough. So even if you confiscated everything the evil rich have you would still have the poor? How can that be? Lol
For those that don’t know this, it’s ok, it’s not your fault.

BECAUSE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE TO CHICKEN SHIT TO DO ANYTHING
The friends of our president learned that protesters and and rioters back in the 60s were looked down upon by the general population, so they chose to push their agenda to change the country as we knew it by getting into politics. But people are beginning to realize that the liberal or progressive agenda to bring the U.S. down is not in their preeminent interests, so the silent majority is trying to change that through elections. Smart people don’t really want to go to jail or worse if there are more elegant ways to change things for the better (elections).
But if Democrats continue to force through their wasteful spending for things that people do not want and augmented taxes (directly or indirectly through higher prices), there could still be rioting in the streets when people learn how it will affect them.
