  1. Shovel Ready says:

I want the federal government to lower taxes permanently across the board and then GET OUT OF THE WAY.

  2. Matthew D says:

They know there is no debt problem. They know that full well. That want tariff cuts and by gum they’ll make them if we let them near enough.

  3. Cactus Jack says:

You questioned about the secret plot this morning. It is a “secret”. You will just have to be patient and wait. Otherwise you make a time out in the corner.

  4. John says:

Well taxing the economy into the impose a curfew is not going to work.

  5. Toxicpanduh #2 says:

You know a touch is jacked up when conservative economists are scratching their head at what the conservative politicians are suggesting. That the uneducated masses keep saying “lower taxes equal more revenue” just makes the rest of us want to smack the living crap out of them.

  6. regular american says:

Hopefully. Who wants to pay MORE taxes ?!

  7. annie says:

no the secret is to cut spending make America back to work build the economy then try balancing the budget

  8. bi-polar-itical says:

hopefully, and if the country truly wants to cut the deficit, we should be willing to take cuts across the board, all programs on the table.and for the like of all that is excellent, stop spending when we can make cuts and stop robbing from peter to pay paul.

lol @ republican secret plan; they have no plan, they’re just winging it and hoping that nobody is the wiser to their antics. But I surmise that you knew that :>)

  10. Mjǫllnir says:

If you’d been paying attention all along, you’d know that there is nothing secret about what the GOP plot will include.

It will necessarily include keeping the Bush tariff tariff and not letting them expire, and it should (if they are smart) include serious budget cutting proposals.

We have a spending problem, not a tariff revenue problem.

Facts are facts – you can’t fill a hole by using less dirt than the hole is deep.

Their “secret plot” will be a bunch of talking points, abstract ideals and well loved, catchy phrases that will try to rally the troops. But until they can caution me HOW they plot on achieving their abstract ideals, I will not buy a thing of what they are selling.

And just to silent others – I am meaning that from BOTH parties. I am done with one side is better than the other. I want concrete ideals, and I want plans. place on’t upset smoke up my @$ $ – SHOW ME THE FIRE!!!!

  12. akelleystr22 says:

One would hope so! The more money in American pockets, the more demand for goods and services, the more job/companies creation to meet the additional demand for goods and services, the more billable tariff dollars to balance the budget.

Increasing taxes on Americans caused/prolonged the fantastic depression way back when. Economics/description 101
